The Rowdies on the south side of the JAR are some of the best fans I've ever seen! The Rowdies sitting on the north side could use a little help, but, whatever. I think that as UA keeps building dorms and the resident student population continues to exponentially climb, The Info and the JAR will be the places to be for students on game nights and have truly crazy student sections. UA is definitely the up-and-coming U in the entire MAC. In about 3 years we'll be the MAC flagship institution!EXCUSE ME...i agree the rowdies on the north side suck...but not ALL of them. A few of us (including a few non rowdies) get belligerent and very loud, no doubt louder per person and more "rowdy" than anyone on the other side of the court. Oh and im not taking anything away from the south siders (that's what im calling them from now on).

Went to Cleats in Green because they said that they would have the game. They didn't get it, instead the screen kept saying "Program not purchased". What a bummer, spent $22.00 on drinks and never saw the game.Should have gone to Cleats in Fairlawn, watched it there with about 25+ zips faithful.

Due to the high amounts of calls, the owner of the Fairlawn Cleats called and ordered ESPN full court from direct tv just for all of us Zips fans...so everyone come on down and join in the party. i dont have mine yet either, id like to know as well. Though last year for the first day i just bought at the gate at the Q and it was still only 10 bucks for me as a student.

Akron gets trashed all around facebook and only a handful of people even step up to the plate to say anything.umm does anyone care that they're fans make a facebook group about us?no...we have lives and don't sit around and "trash" other teams on facebook.there is a big difference between trash talking and team/school pride....apparently you haven't figured that one out yet
