Since when do scholarships not count when someone is redshirted? I thought only medical redshirts don't count towards scholarship limits.

According to everyone's favorite source (twitter), Philly's Malakiah Hunter will be playing at UA this fall...on scholarship. Possible Recruit Bad Sign for Zips? Not sure where this scholarship is coming from.

I like soccer the way it is. As Z.I.P. stated, removing a player or two in OT makes the most sense in terms of stopping PK's, not ruining the game by making it a boring goal-fest.

I would have loved to have been up in the Polymer Center or Infocision tonight to get a better view of the eclipse. What we could see of it at least. Took a few shots from the top of the Exchange St. parking deck however.... If only it would have started a 25 minutes earlier. Could have been some nice views of campus and the sun.

That'll do it for the 2012 Akron Baseball season. 13-straight losses (11 in conference) to end the season... Still, it'll be interesting to see what Coach Rembielak can do with a full year of recruiting his own guys. I'm very optimistic.

Hope to see a big turnout of Zips fans tomorrow at 1pm in Can't for the regular season finale. It's all come down to one game (God knows how). If the Zips win: They are in...simple as that. Seriously, clear your schedule and come out and support this team. They may be in one of the worst losing streaks in years but they still have a chance to make the MAC Tourney for the first time in SEVEN years. We get to Avon and anything can happen with our solid starting pitching.

Brookhart's worst loss: Though the Can't loss in 2006 was extremely disappointing, the loss to UB in the last game ever at the Rubber Bowl stings the most.
