How the hell is USC even in the Tourney, let alone an 11 seed?! How the hell did VCU even make it in?! How the hell did UAB make it in?! You could go on and on. The 15 seed doesn't seem unfair...it just seems a little odd considering some of the higher seeded and weak teams. Yes, teams that may be better than us on paper but shouldn't even be in the Tournament...unlike us who actually earned an automatic bid.

Game was officiated fair, too many whistles in general though. I had an Akron fan behind me jumping up and down screaming every time Akron got a foul called on them. He made me ashamed to be an Akron fan. If you stuck around for the OU game, and watched OU fans cry about fouls, that's how it looked to the unbiased observer. While I was eating lunch today a BigTen game was on, they went 7 minutes of uninterrupted time up and down the floor, no whistles. That's more fun to watch than tons of stoppage in play. I like watching basketball, not foul shooting and officials calls. This is a pointless argument as we've already established that many on ZN.o are obvious MAC official apologists but I saw the OU game...the officials were terrible there too. They made a few game changing calls that truly affected the outcome of the game. They made about 10 that almost did for us. It's frightening that these guys are repeatedly being chosen for these big games.

All things considered, I thought yesterday's game was one of the better officiated games we have had at the Q. If we hit our 10 missed lay-ups, no one would have noticed the officials.. WHAT?!

That video would be 4 hours long, i dont know if they'd watch it all.

To be honest, I thought the Zips defense last night was pretty good at times. They were very aggressive and were hustling at least. Of course leaving EMU open for 3-point shots would be a good strategy on any night. My God, they must have heaved 30 threes.

btw, the taco bar was AWESOME. Kudos to whoever organized that...though i'm guessing Tap House had something to do with it. Just great stuff....and not just because i attended Barley House Happy Hour prior to eating.

I'm sure the Rowdies ( ) will be. But really as someone mentioned, the tables are the best idea otherwise. Usually you get a good ticket for a decent price.

Definitely, best example would be Scott Caldwell. I don't think anyone would rank him very high nationally, but he fits Porter's system well and look what happened last post-season! Didn't Porter just say in that Q&A video that it's not about fitting the players into the system but about building the system around the players?
