no score at the half....akron isn't quite dictating play by any means but they are playing very aggressive and lead in shots 8-2. Also, MSU doesn't seem to have the speed to keep up so it's only a matter of time before someone breaks free.

CSU has never truly had a national top level program at any time. They may have been decent in the 60's 70's 80's (30 straight years huh?) but they've never been anywhere close to Akron, probably not even in our worst years. Fact is we're something like 35-11 all time against them with almost all of the losses occurring at their place. Hardly fierce competition. Good news is, when we play them next time we will murder them 7-0.
