A decent crowd. A bit disappointed they aren't doing more to make the atmosphere more dynamic like having a pep band or active cheerleaders or even a host/announcer. Just a bunch of fans coming in to cheer on the Zips on the video screen.
No reason to exclude Faust from ND/UA futility list IMO. I am wary of our AD being enamored with guys from his alma mater, but I guess at least Polian comes from a successful ND program. He was 23-27 in 4 years at Nevada, not what I'd call very successful.
I do recognize the academic side of this, but 4 cross country flights in a week is a lot to ask and compete for a national championship. Oh well, they're young. I pretty much agree with your points, though.
Keep me up on the game guys. I'm caught up observing Daily Mass on the Eternal Word Televison Network on Spectrum 385 where Zips Facebook post said game would be on. (I did find it on WatchESPN)
Were there people on both sides of the JAR? I see they ran a video, but it only showed the blue seats side at the end of the match. They need to hype this more.
I just got the feed by downloading the PAC12 app, signing in with my Spectrum password and casting to my Chrome. I don't think I upgraded anything. It doesn't come up on my TV through the cable box.
Unless you already used up your trial on the Zips-Kent State football game, like me. Not really disappointed to not pay to watch this game in person or on TV anyway.
Nice to see the ABJ write a big story about Zips soccer, but Mr. Bournival fails to mention the controversial offside call on the potential game tying goal with a minute left that resulted in the Wake coach being ejected and a cheap foul by a Wake player when play resumed that almost resulted in a fight. Glad I watched the game so I know the whole story.
Thought you meant it was slow collecting the feed, like buffering. Trying now to just watch on laptop without casting to TV. Tried casting from phone and laptop.
NC A&T won the MEAC last year and only lost to #2 seed South Carolina by 11. They are picked to win the MEAC again this year, so that is an intriguing win.
Pretty good crowd. Heck, the game was free and a lot better matchup than the game at the JAR last night. Plus, I should have time to go home and change into my woolies to go to the Zips-BGSU game.
