I think Turner and Plowden are always going to get their's. The key is to prevent any of their other players from going off. If the perimeter defense is off again, guys like Diggs and Metheny could really do some damage. BG doesn't have a traditional big post presence but Plowden can do some real damage on the boards and he's a tough matchup as he can play like a wing yet is among the league's top rebounders. They need a body on him at all times.

The only downside to Tribble is that the opponents have figured out that he has no shot. As a result, they completely back off on him on the perimeter and don't hesitate to leave him in help defense. That also limits his dribble drive opportunities. In any event, as much as we might like to see a shakeup I think it is unlikely with only 3 games left.

That was the year they started awful. I think they had won only one game going into the game with the Zips. They then rallied to 18 wins and an appearance in the A10 championship game.

St. B had a bunch of talented kids returning from a 19 win team and have really solid coaching. They were not going to be a middle of the pack A10 team. Richmond and VCU may get them in the A10 tournament, but they should go in as a 1 to 3 seed in the A10 tourney at season's end.

He is averaging 16.4 ppg, 7.4 apg and 7.2 rpg so his first game performance was pretty close to average for him.

The most concerning comment by Groce is that the Zips poor performance came down to EFFORT and execution. Effort should never be an issue.

I can't disagree on Dailey. Great kid and I was rooting for him but he continues to struggle. I though would think about replacing him with Wynn rather than Dawson. That being said, I don't expect any changes this late in the season.

The Zips starters other than LCJ combined for 19 measly points. I see now that Preston and Wilson did not play. That makes it even worse. Two technicals too. Yikes.
