  1. Need a fast start to the second half.
  2. He'll get his. They need to slow down his supporting cast.
  3. If he says "on the bounce" one more time I'm throwing something at the TV.
  4. Too many damn turnovers!
  5. So the guy who's been Yale's head coach for 27 years has their record for all-time career wins. Who'd have thunk it?
  6. Akron assistant Terry "Weingard."
  7. Eric on Townsend to start. Now Evan.
  8. Dru's squad really struggled Saturday at SVSM, losing to a Northeastern team that was not nearly as talented.
  9. Halligan's contribution is that he's a good defender, works hard and doesn't hurt you when he's on the floor with turnovers and bad shots. He's Marvin but on the perimeter.
  10. The answer to the 2004 clue is "When was the last time Eddie George played a down in the NFL?"
  11. But they don't have FBS football which is the centerpiece around which all things MAC must revolve.
  12. Now gone to Akron -2.5 on DraftKings.
  13. That's what I'd expect. The line right now is Yale -1.5.
  14. Eric has grown up a lot this weekend. Starting to get confident.
  15. He's the hinges of the Groce family bus.
  16. The Zips move on to the championship game of the Paradise Jam against Yale. Yale was unanimously selected as the preseason favorite to win the Ivy League. They are currently 5-1 with wins over Navy, Quinnipiac, Stony Brook, Green Bay and Charleston and a loss to Rhode Island. 1st team all-Ivy League 6’7” senior forward Nick Townsend leads Yale with 19.5 ppg and 7.7 rpg. 6’6” sophomore forward Riley Fox contributes 12.7 ppg. 6’6” sophomore forward Isaac Celiscar averages 11.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg. As you might imagine, these are not transfers or guys on their 7th year of college basketball.
  17. You guys are inviting a 35 point comeback!
  18. Hold it. Don't let up.
  19. Commentator on Tavari: "He has got the hinges to this Akron bus." Huh?
  20. Definitely. He can work a room. Very friendly and personable.
  21. I knew they'd be a tough out when I saw what they did to Calumet College of St. Joseph. They are scrappy. They should win a few games. They won't see many bigger teams.
  22. Commentator: "If you take away the transition scores Akron has had Evansville would be ahead." Well, no $h!+.
  23. Quiet half for Shammah.
