  1. I agree CK. I was debating whether or not to go to the game. I figured since it was so nice out, why not go enjoy a good football game. What a waste of time and money. A few minutes into the 3rd quarter I was ready to go. There was no effort and no attempt to win the game. I was hoping to see CJ in at the start of the 4th quarter to get him some valuable experience, but that didn't happen. Getsy had no time since our line didn't block, but you could easily see that as soon as there was any pressure he looked scared. He threw the ball at the feet of the WMU D Line several times and when he did get the ball near one of our receivers it was short or too high or by the knees. If all the defenses we played against this year would have blitzed like WMU we may have gone 0-12. This was the worst I've seen in a long time!
  2. Lets add:Biggest surprise: David HarveyMost under-utilized: Kris KasparekFreshman of the year: David HarveyMVP: David Harvey
  3. "Then to his punt in the 4th. I have never seen a 5-yard punt, out of bounds!"That sucked, but ask the CANT punter about his 7 yarder followed by his -4 yarder against Ohio!!!! Who does that past the age of 8?
  4. Here we go. Zips have just under 100 yards in penalties, miss 1 extra point and one field goal. We actually run the ball in the red zone instead of throwing across the field on 3rd and 1 for an interception. Kennedy gets 2 TD's. Harvey gets another TD and CJ finally gets in the game late for mop up duty.Final score: Zips 26 Buffalo 13
  5. Charlie has struggled this year, but who wouldn't? The Browns O Line is horrific. He is under pressure within 2 seconds almost every play. Even when he does get the ball out of there you can't count on the receivers to make the catch. His mobility is the only thing keeping them from looking even worse. Charlie is trying to do too much because he is such a competitor.
  6. I hadn't heard that about Woods before. I think we're so close to putting it all together here. I think KD will keep things under control. Just get out there and rebound that damn ball JW!!
  7. How many sacks does he have so far for his career? If he stays healthy he will be well over 120 sacks during his career. He just provides such a matchup problem with his speed.
  8. I completely agree!! I've been seeing this for years. Not just with the current coaching staff, but all the way back to the Faust era. Sure, we've had a few guys that live up to their expectations and even far exceed them like Charlie Frye, Domenick Hixon, Jason Taylor, Victor Green, Mike Johnson, etc. Most just don't get better either because of lack of development or their own lack of work ethic and sheer determination.
  9. Now that we will have Woods back in the fold we should finally win the MAC. I feel that Travis or Wood can make a legitimate run at the MAC player of the year as well.
