I think a 6 win season that was only 11 games gets us a bowl bid. Everyone knows we would have beat Nebraska and they were too afraid to reschedule.

I am not going to play this game with you. It is actually pretty pathetic. When the Zips win to the liking of some, crickets. When they don't win by the margin some deem worthy, whining and complaining. It really boils down to your failure to see that there is not as much of a gap from the top to the bottom of the conference as some like to believe there is and that different teams match up, differently. If you want to complain about how bad a football team is, and a coach and an OC worthy of firing, you always have the Hue, Haley, and the Browns, lol.

I think to "get to the next level" as a G5 school in this day and age takes either a fair amount of luck or recruiting violations. Tgere are a lot if kids spending 4 years on the bench or scout team who really should be playing G5 ball.

Gone from an 1-11 team to winning the Wagon Wheel 4 years in a row, a MAC East title with a team that shouldn't have made it in the midst of a QB controversy, and 3 bowl appearances, including a bowl win, best record since moving to Div 1A, and beating aquality B10 team for the first time, ever... The people who think Bowden's job is on the line are simply out of touch with reality.

Northwestern beat Wisconsin, today. If we can get Kato to get his act together and some receivers to get open, the Zips can win.

Just listened to post-game presser....Bowden is not happy. Agree, though, a win is a win and 4 or 5 years ago we would not have held on for the win with such monumental mistakes. The bright spots were seeing the D step up, especially underclassmen, a little better run game from Van Edward's, and Knight as a threat in the return game. Stewart and Andre William's are playing fairly well, considering their inexperience. We need more from upperclassmen on offense. This may require us to do some more creative play calling and running Kwad from the backfield. I wouldn't mind seeing Knight and Kwad lined up in the backfield for a reverse or a fake reverse. We are starting to see Kato take off with it and run, more. This is essential for us to be successful this year.
