i think the closest game the zips will have is toledo. but they will win. Cant state will try to look at the game film from the zips yesterday against ball state an try to do what ball state did to force the zips into the 5 straight turns overs in the 2nd half of yesterdays game. The zips just have to stay focused an force the flushes to turn the ball over and not get rattled if the flushes do have a small run, stay composed an have a run of your own. The same goes for toledo. this game looks as if it is shapeing up to be the game of the year in the MAC so far.

Maybe this is why they may have pulled their offer for dario, because they knew this guy was going to sign with them. what other surprises are to come in the next 4 days, i cant wait to see lol. I emailed sewell (found his profile on another website) and he said that he will be coming to Akron to join his teammate from Hargrove who also signed with the zips (shead) and is also one of his very good friends.

Has anyone heard bout the new soccer stadium they want to build (not sure if that is who wolstein is or not) in northern summit county (macedonia)? why not have akron get into talks with them an have then put in some of the money an then akron use their 54 million budget an build the 30,000 seat stadium they wanted, it can be multi purpose with the football and soccer field. that way they wouldnt have to add more taxes to things like cigarettes,food an all that other stuff.

I know we play army at the rubber bowl then Ohio State at the shoe, an then we play indiana at the bowl then uconn at their place but im not sure of whoever else we have. they have them on www.gozips.com under the football section an on the right hand side it says future schedules. that shows who they play up until 2010-2011

akron did offer him. i have spoken to him and seen the letter offering him. now i dont kn ow if they have since pulled their offer but if they did thats crazy. he is a football player an a good student.

igor is having some problems physically with his back, but he said the trainers are doing a great job of getting him ready for the upcoming season. he is pretty good. was ranked as the 5th best kicker coming ou of mentor hs. he said he will be ready to kick for the OSU game.

Anyone who has hung around Charlie knows that he doesnt smile much. so dont take offense to that. Did your friends ask him directly why he didnt take a picture with them? maybe if you had he would have taken another one. Charlie's done alot while at akron from going to childrens hospital during christmas time to spend time with the kids, going to different charity events and signing autographs for kids an all other fans. i think maybe your incident was an isolated one, because he just doesnt seem like the guy who would do somthing like that to be an a$$.

i just got an email back from him and he said that akron has pulled their offer for him, because they have signed 2 JC CB's with one being williams. They told williams that he would be a Rb here at akron. so i wonder if they are just telling him that but actually going to use him as a CB when he gets here..... who knows

williams said he likes akron, and also likes indiana. the only thing with him are his grades, that may be a problem. but hopefully he can get them up an sign with akron. and the last i heard about wayne, he was leaning towards pitt, but that was about a week ago.

yeah i used to be good friends with his sister and i used to play basketball an he used to come to my house an stuff, but havent talked to him inna while. im definatly going to have to keep in his ear if i can.... he would be a great steal.

Has anyone heard anything about where he will sign. i havent been able to talk to him in a few months, but last i heard northwestern was after him big,akron, and illonois were big on him. he also stated that west virginia had some interest. anyone have some inside let me know

he is such an athlete he could play almost anywhere on the field.

Hey cap. they also recently offered Dan Mccarthy of Youngstown cardinal Mooney . he already has offers from OSU and Penn State. He would be a HUGE addition if we were able to pull this one. Ive got video on him if ud like to see it.

Ive hung out with charlie a few times back when he was here at akron an he was always a cool guy to me.... maybe it was a front, who knows. but i know that if akron were to have a line to keep him safe for longer then .4 seconds, he would be doing a heck of a lot better.

Was this kid an athlete for Cant State, because if so its nothing new (look at josh cribbs and a few of their players last season) and if he is an athlete he will get a slap on the wrist and let go. Now if that were akron, im sorry but I think the kid would be getting the boot if he were an athlete.
