OU is a rival and arguably our biggest one in hoops behind Can't State. I won't lie. It feels really good beating our rival by 30 and watching Bubba choke under the heat. If you guys would have given us a pounding like that in the convo don't think there would not be any pats on the back on bobcatattack. As you can see, nobody has crowned us champions, and many of us were very critical after the Toledo loss. However, we are also going to praise our team when they do well.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was beautiful. Man I wish I was there! Man the bench players manhandled those punks. That had to be the best part for me. My only problem was I could not keep track of all the points Bubba was scoring. What a scoring machine!

Thing about the depth though is that it's something that will carry forward for the rest of the year and really worries me.A lot of people are throwing Bubba under the bus, but nobody wearing an Ohio uniform played well yesterday. I listened on the radio and heard the Rowdies among the 7000 at the game when the zips made a play. Great Job!!

I don't expect us to be world beaters every year. Those are harsh expectations on any program, but there is no reason not to believe this is our year. Fans get pissed when their teams lose. Have you ever read a Cleveland Browns game thread?? We could have won this game and should have. We lead by as many as 11 points! And keep in mind nobody will ever give the zips any of the repect they deserve unless they finally win the championship and get to the tournament.

No one on this board is a fair weather fan. This fan will be at the Ohio game losing his voice once again, but its also alright to have high expectations. This is supposed to be our year. If we are going to win it all this year represents our greatest shot cause we lose two good ones next year and even more the year after while our archrival is stockpiling talent. With that said, I'm sick of Toledo getting in the way, and I'm sick of losing these close games on the road. An absolutely pathetic NIU team just beat the other MAC team we lost to on the road, and we had every chance to pull it out. Come on here!

Anyone else sick of being a few mistakes away from winning these HUGE road games? We're good but we continue to show we cannot take the next step to being great. How is this team really much different from last year's? Wins like this would pack the JAR to the seams.

Toledo very quick. When they penetrate and go to the hole they draw the fouls. Their guards are causing havoc on our defense.

I'll take Dials anyday. They can HAVE Bubba. I never was a fan. It's gonna be a smackdown at the JAR! Sure great seeing OU take one to the chin.This puts us in real good position to at least earn a first round bye, and that is the first key to winning the tournament so that we are not tired by the semis. Man, if the zips would pull one out a tough one tonight, I don't think there would be any team in the MAC that would beat us in the tourney.

As a fellow engineering student at the U, I have to agree that they need to get that crap off when representing the University. Their degree will say The University of Akron; not The Ohio State University. People just don't get it. The better Akron does, the better my degree looks and the more recognition we all get here. If everybody would jump on board this place would be formidable. If I were a member of challenge-X, I would definitely have called him out on that.

This is a meltdown if I've ever seen one. We don't deserve to win.

An OU loss would go a long way in taking them out of east contention but we need Toledo to lose. I do not want to go in their place against an undefeated Toledo squad. Also, the zips need the highest seed they can get. We need an easy road to the finals at the Q or else it becomes a crap shoot as to whether we can win it or not.

Are you kidding me? We have nothing to do with FAU and you have nothing to do with us, yet you are going to argue with us about what? I know absolutely nothing about your school and you probably don't have a clue about us either. You got a good kid. Big deal. That kind of stuff happens all the time. We've signed some guys who had BCS offers. You win some you lose some. These kids change their mind all the time. Who the hell even cared to dig up an Akron message board by the way? This draw ranks right up there with Loyola and Winston Salem State. We need to get to the dance this year or we will continue to lack respect. We win games but can we win the games that matter? Anything less than a championship will be a huge letdown and we will continue to be a mediocre draw in the future.

Come on now. Like the ozone or any of the MAC's well known student sections don't heckle opposing teams. I hear they do a number on the zips so we should be "positive" when OU comes to the JAR along with traitor Bubba. So we should just pat them on the back huh? We should all sing cumbaya too. Seriously, this is college sports. This is division 1. This is the big time. This aint 8th grade boys basketball no more. That point of view in no ways justifies the existence of this group.
