This is a HUGE game. I don't really know much about the Broncos this year other than the final scores of their games. What can we expect in Kalamazoo? What do we have to do better than usual to pull off an extremely tough road win?

I agree, although it could be argued that the Zips have actually played better on the road than at home recently. I'm still worried about Ohio and Buffalo at home as well as the road contests at WMU and Buffalo. Heck, even NIU is looking better now than they have in recent years. It is certainly more of a guantlet this year than we have been accustomed to recently.

I said this in another thread, but I just want us to grind it out until we get those last 3 home games to end the season.

If we can somehow get to that point in a "control our own destiny" situation, I like our chances to win the regular season title again.

Hopefully a minor indiscretion for Nick that will result in no more than a minor suspension. Burning Kwan's redshirt doesn't look like such a waste right now. Nick's been averaging 21+ minutes per game, and a chunk of that PT is likely to go to Kwan. The starting lineup was likely to change against WMU anyway. Shayne Whittington (6-11, 250) is generally rated the best center currently in the MAC. Coach Dambrot was unlikely to go small against him. Pat will likely get the start at center with relief from Big Dog to try to shut down Whittington.

Never cared for it before but after the last twelve months I really hate the word 'indefinitely'. I am unclear as to whether this is a major thing or a reprimand costing him a game or two.

Zips 1.5 dogs for the game.

It doesn't seem to have moved much, indicating the line was probably established with knowledge of Harney's suspension.

WMU guard David Brown has scored 20+ the last 3 games and averages 18.7 per game. The Broncos have not had a true PG since Mike Douglas, so hopefully CM's defense can present problems for them if he stay out of foul trouble. Tava went off against Toledo in the 1st half of that season opening WMU 11 point win in K'Zoo.

Broncos have generally been poor on the road and very good at home, although they managed to lose to BUGS. Frenchy has been pointing out their FT attempt disparity when they play at home. That could be an issue.

Hoping Kwan plays a lot tonight. Go Zips!

When Tree gets the ball under the basket he has 3 guys on him. We have Kretzer, Cheatham, and McAdams standing on the wing doing nothing. As I stated before our spacing is terrible. In the 2nd half, saw guys cutting to the basket. We got a layup. Good half time adjustment.

Game on. Score tied halfway through the second half. The overriding impression I'm getting from watching this game is that the Zips can't consistently win playing one-on-one. They really need to start playing more as a team.
