Let's all hope they are correct on the three kids mentioned with Akron ..... Cooper, Stinson and Jordon !!!!

Those 3 would be a great way to round out the class IMO. Props to Hustlebelt for putting something like that together. They do a lot of nice work covering the MAC that we wouldn't have if it wasnt for them.

+1. HustleBelt does some great work! Definitely worth giving hits to their website.

Unfortunately, Immanuel Stinson did receive an offer from MSU according to this article I found (dated February 19th). http://archive.freep.com/article/20140219/SPORTS07/302190175/michigan-state-spartans-football-recruiting

Edit: I take that back - I didn't look closely enough, as it's dated February 19, 2014. My bad. Nothing to see here.

Or if his offer was pulled for one of the more recent commits?

Most kids from PA would prefer a preferred walk on to PSU to a scholarship, it is just whether they can afford it. This kid lives in the heart of PSU country. PSU was probably his dream pick.

I think our ability to pull in some great talent from PA, dating all the way back to the early 90s, tells a different story.

That commitment list fires me up ...................... I like it !!! :thumb:

Now they need bulked up and coached up !!! ....................... BY FAR better athletes than any other UA recruiting class (Bowden or before)

IMO of course !!! ............ Would like a bit more size at WR and CB but I think we addressed some most needs.... Now they just need to come ready

How many of them had preferred walk on from PSU?

Not arguing with you. But I guess the only way to know would be to look at guys who have taken other D-1A scholarships that could have gone to Penn State and paid their own way as a walk on. Without that knowledge, it's just a generalization about PA players. And we have had great success recruiting there over the last few decades. I'm sure we're not the only one.
