Balsy
I don't know if I should be laughing or crying...how I it possible that one of the worst FB coaches in the history of college FB, still be getting paid for "consulation". What an absolute joke.

LZIp
Have nothing to say about that guy, but being a casual follower of Mount/OAC/DIII football, I do find Buffalo's hire very intriguing.
Valpo Zip
Ironically, Buffalo was the only D1-A team that Ianello managed to beat as a head coach.

Zip_ME87
I bet this all comes to cost for U@B. How many Canadian dollars do you think iCoach might be getting for this "transition" period?
Z.I.P. This certainly dispels all those stories that Kehres could never jump from D-III to D1.

Kehres could have jumped from D-III to DI. He just didn't want to.
Big Zip
I hear he is volunteering. He's probably still got plenty of cash from Notre Dame, Akron and Kansas -- hell he maybe receiving checks from Kansas.BTW did anyone see how much Brady Hoke is going to make not to coach Michigan? $125,000 a year for the next 24 months and $3 million payable within 30 days. With that kind of buy out why not just go coach a High School football team some where and have fun.

ZachTheZip
According to footballscoop.com, he's actually sticking around at U@B as Associate HC/WR coach/Recruiting Coordinator.
Dr Z
Brady Hoke is going to make not to coach Michigan? $125,000 a year for the next 24 monthsYou are aware of how much, and how many former Browns coaches have gotten paid not to coach in Cleveland since the Browns have returned to the NFL right? Brady's payment is peanuts when compared to that.
Jrship35
Buffalo: Per source, former Akron head coach and Kansas wide receivers coach Rob Ianello will join the Buffalo staff as wide receivers / associate head coach / recruiting coordinator. Ianello had been serving as a transitional consultant to Lance Leipold while Leipold was working for Buffalo and Wisconsin-Whitewater. This completes Leipold's staff. Keep track of new FBS staffshere.

Dave in Green
Having Ianello as the wide receivers coach at Buffalo would seem to be a competitive advantage for the Zips based on this.

zippy5
I wouldn't be surprised if he recruited well without having the burden of trying to figure out how to coach at the same time.
