Captain Kangaroo
Thanks for posting. It looks like a baby version of Bird vs. Wilkins in the '88 playoffs. I wish we saw more of that from Nick when he was @ UA.As a Celtics fan, I'm disappointed to see Sullinger has apparently found the weight he'd shed after his foot injury last season. LZIp
I saw a few familiar faces in that video. I thought our players weren't playing in any summer leagues
morris buttermaker
Haha .. That looks brutal. Lazy guys kidding themselves that they are getting better.those guys should be embarrassed. ZipsBurgh
Also, this is interesting from the description on the YouTube video:Published on Jun 29, 2015Check out these highlights of Columbus, Ohio native and Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger vs Cleveland, Ohio native Nick Harney. Harney posted 41 points in a win over the Columbus Pro AM, while Sullinger scored 38 points respectively.Nick Harney will be playing with the New York Knicks in the Las Vegas Summer League.
ZZZips
I wish Tree and Nick well but I am more interested in what our current players are doing this summer. Attached are the only pictures I can find that show any current Akron players participating the the local summer league. Are other players involved? Dr Z
I always thought Nick had all of the physical tools. I'll be following.Agreed. I never thought his skill set fit into the current Zips offense. Summer League Schedule. @NickHarney
Dave in Green
Agreed. I never thought his skill set fit into the current Zips offense. ...He fit better into the Zips offense than the defense.
LZIp
FYI I did some looking around on the internet and couldnt find anything about Harney playing on the Knicks summer league team.

skip-zip
I realize this is a summer league, but Nick shows about as much defensive effort in this video as he displayed during his career at Akron.
clarkwgriswold
Nick will score 2 in the next game and stay in his seat and sulk during timeouts when he's not in the game. Nick's issue has never been talent, it has been his attitude. No ZIp has EVER frustrated me as much as Nick Harney and my blood pressure welcomed his departure.
clarkwgriswold
OK, I watched it against my better judgment. I kept expecting Escalade, The Professor or Hot Sauce to come trotting out at any moment.

Dave in Green
Nick may not be playing for the Knicks, but the MAC player who is playing for the Knicks is making a big impression:Maurice Ndour explodes for 23 points in Knicks OT win
