YSU doesn't strike me as a team with much depth. If Akron can't beat a team picked to finish at the bottom of the Horizon League, it's going to be a long season. Nobody they play up to that point is expected to be "good". Edit: Now will they be is another question. We will have to wait and see. I'm counting 13 games before the start of preseason games. 2 of the games are part of tournament so opponent TBD, but we still have games those days. 1981 grad Posted November 13, 2016 Report Share Posted November 13, 2016 I am surprised that we have not seen Daniel Utomi. He played a couple of games last year before they decided to redshirt him his freshman year. I wonder if he is hurt. We started with 3 guards, Robotham, Anitno and Josh Williams. Ivey was first off the bench and went on a scoring binge. Big Dog looks good and Kwan started hot but has cooled off. Youngstown is keeping it close and looks like a good game. Seriously though, giving up 90 points to YSU tells me that Keith and the staff have a lot of work ahead of them with this group. Maybe Reggie, Jake, and Pat meant a lot more to this team last year than we're willing to admit.
