It is very rare that a meteorologist is incorrect on their forecast of precipitation. For those interested to know, an example of how forecasting the percentage of precipitation works. As of now I am seeing 40% chance of rain at 8pm this evening during the game. That percentage doesn’t mean there is a 40% chance that it will rain. It actually means that in the area, in this case Akron, there is a 100% chance that 40% of the Akron area will see some form of precipitation.
