It's about to be 28-3. That's where I say good night. A decent season guys. Lots of room for improvement for next year. I'll expect this team to be at another bowl and not be a 70 pt. underdog next year.

Am at the game. Zips band is much more powerful and just better than FAU's.

How was the targeting not targeting? Every replay on the big screen seemed to confirm it, never mind seeing it live.

Giving up 3 TDs on 4th and goal is brutal. Only thing worse has been not being able to run out the half. Sigh.

Official said the booth buzzed them about 4th down call, so no challenge. Doubt we get that benefit of the doubt.

Pretty much everyone wanted to go with Kato Nelson. This is what you get when you go with an inexperienced QB. No surprises, here. I hope Alex Ramart makes spring ball a big competition.  Not sold on Nelson.

A lot of FAU "fans" have been leaving since 34-3. Why wouldn't you stay if you were enjoying your team administering a beatdown? 

Kiffin going for 2 is being a total @$$#0/€.  Other coaches need to remember that and take advantage when they can to put him in his place. It is not necessary and shows the kind of person he is.

He crossed the line by going for 2, already up 31. If my HC choices for the next 10 years came down to Bowden and Kiffin, I'd take Bowden, even with Milwee as his OC.

I agree. I loved it. It's a killer's mentality. I'd much rather have a coach who does that rather than one who runs it up the middle every time on 3rd and 11.

I felt like we needed to thank Kato for what he did for us in that magical first half against OU, and move him back to the backup role the following week.  He still could have been a great 2nd option for the next few games, and been available if we needed him.

 

I'm afraid we may have killed all of his confidence now.  Bad move.

Maybe, also possible it wasn't offered to him. Kelley is back next year, might as well give him some reps in case we ever need him.
