Also, these announcers obviously never seen Akron play. They sound so surprised the Xeyrius is a perimeter player and not a post up player.

Amen, that jumped out at me too.  As a condition of getting the mike, you should at least have to do some research on the opposing team.

Looks like X is going to get some looks tonight.  Hopefully, he'll have a big game.  I understand friends and family there.

Early in the game they said to leave X open for the three.  Now they indicate he is 3rd on the team in 3 pointers.  hmmmm......

I was like, huh?  When they said that.

Pretty sure he's 1st in attempts too.

Reece just called for a moving screen.  Looked like a good screen to me.  What am I missing?

Started with that call on Riak.  Then a total flop from Miami when Tribble had his forearm extended.  Want to keep Miami in it I guess

This commercial with the brothers, "I only got cancer so you could tell people you shaved your head..." has become my second to least favorite to the freaking "Earl of Sandwich" commercial we were incessantly subjected to a couple of years ago.

I like Sayles and Deng a lot. Both guys hustle and play up to their abilities. They are certainly not the only bigs around with less than a stellar touch. Both are competent players and an asset to the Zips.

Now this dude had some bad hands yet he adapted quite nicely.

Yeah but he couldn't dribble the ball at all and he had some absolutely horrific and gruesome fouls. ?

Fearless 2nd half prediction: All players on both teams foul out with several minutes remaining.  The 3 overzealous officials decide the outcome with a game of 3 way scuttle.

Love the defense so far but the whistles have taken over the game. No flow at all

It was risky to burn Dawson's red shirt and I was hoping he would be a bit further along by now. He's put in some decent minutes early tonight which is good, I'd just like to see his impact a little more. Also, we're still waiting on the "Tribble game" where the MAC learns his name for the first time. I was expecting that at some point by now too. Not a big deal by any means, but going into March it would certainly give me some peace of mind knowing that there's some legitimate depth in case of emergency. Mind's just wandering. Nice half.

I was thinking something similar. Hopefully we can maintain/build on the lead. I would like a lineup the last 5 or so minutes of something like Tribble, Dawson, Ali, Reece, and Sayles. Force them to develop!

NOT risky. Necessary.

Else he could have transferred out and played next year.
