The Hip Zip Posted November 2, 2020 Report Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) In my opinion, there is no better time to to catch the Broncs and I'm glad we are opening with them as the real power of the conference seems to be the top 3-4 teams of the East. W Mich got crushed at graduation. Bellamy, their great RB (MAC POTY) and QB Wassink are gone along with a few other key contributors. I think that this can be a very close game. The line is now at +18 , gimme the damn points ! Fearless Projection: Bubba Arslanian rings up 73 tackles 2 fumble recoveries and a pick 6. Edited November 2, 2020 by The Hip Zip 2 Quote
Dave Mullen Posted November 3, 2020 Report Posted November 3, 2020 I think the Zips will do better than expected. Second year under their head coach with another QB -- you will all be surprised. zippy5 Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 (edited) Okay. 11+ years in this stadium. Can we get a camera angle that isn't on the moon? And on the 50? Is it that hard Edited November 4, 2020 by zippy5 2 Quote
LZIp Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 Pinch me, are awesome things happening? Great first drive. Quote
NWAkron Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 When was last time the zips scored a TD or had a lead? 1 Quote
Spin Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 A pick-6. Now they look familiar... Quote
Phootss Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 My takes so far: Zips are looking better than last year on offense - thank God Young offensive line is holding their own Teon Dollard showing good speed at RB They look small against WMU overall Gibson is showing a strong accurate arm Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 (edited) Gibson is looking efficient. Compared with the last two seasons... I'm happy right now. Edited November 5, 2020 by Blue & Gold Quote
LZIp Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 Gibson has some wild throws, but I'm generally liking this offense so far. D needs to do something, particularly the front 7. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 Let's hold em', D. I'll gladly take down by only 10 at the half. Offense is moving the ball consistently. No 3-and-outs. Quote

Spin Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 That could have been ugly. Good thing Elaby sailed that pass Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 5, 2020 Report Posted November 5, 2020 Our front 7 aren't getting any penetration into the backfield. Quote
