Blue & Gold
Freeman's turned into a nice PF. But he's out of position at the 5. (Ditto with Reece.) Malone's tallest player was 6'7", so Freeman's not going to be able to do that against MAC opponents. We really need Currie (or Aziz) to come in so Freeman & Reece can slide over & play their more natural 4 position.
Illini Zip
Watching the game highlights, a quality I really like to see with Freeman is he seems to have good hands and can handle passes cleanly.
akronzips71
I love what Freeman does around the rim. Not only does he have the most welcome habit of getting the ball to drop, but if you notice on rebounding, he always seems to have position. These are very good signs for a kid at the beginning of his hoops career.

My take (only mine) is that he never had that much experience in organized BB, was just a very talented sand lot player. VERY talented. Needed last year to learn to be a role player on a team. But at 6'7" with a big wingspan and good natural skills, he could be a POY in a few years. He does seem to have all the tools. For some reason he reminds me of Len Paul. Not as graceful, but he seems to have the whole package. On 12/19/2020 at 5:28 PM, LoyalZIP said: Find me some odds on Freeman for future POY and I'll put a few bucks on it! That would be quite a payout This thread was from the Enrique Malone game in 2020, pretty remarkable how after one game people could see him developing to what he is today
