Both Morton and Johnson sucked up on that TD reverse, but how a flag wasn’t thrown on the dropped pass in the end zone is beyond me. It was a clear pick play by Miami to free the receiver. Oh well. Time to respond.

THANK YOU! 😠 SO many sideline routes that effectively double-cover the receiver or screens that have the receiver running east/west with no momentum down field.

No way Hooks is taught to play defense like that. The majority of routes are to the inside. Having hips to the sideline in that situation is foolish.

Off the top of my head I think these are the numbers.
 

Not counting transfers:

 

Offense = Georges, Williams

Defense = Bubba, Hooks

 

 

Counting Transfers:

 

Offense = Everyone but Adams and Landers

Defense = Everyone but Durant and Lewis

There are enough experienced players on this team that three points in a half against a mid level MAC school should never happen. This is just plain bad.

Can’t argue there. Miami has the best defense we’ve seen in the MAC, but the offense should have put up more than 3 points.

Price runs into the line on 4th & inches deep in territory in a critical situation. Wash, rinse, repeat. Very disappointed in the offensive coaching staff today.
