ZipsBBjunkie Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Two things: - How much longer does Tibesar stick around? There’s more than enough tape to show he’s built a respectable defense to go somewhere with a chance to win. - Really can’t believe Finley hasn’t broken out as I imagined he would. Maybe we’ll see a more confident seasoned player during MAC games? Is Joe just getting what he can to fill the roster and not building out with the right players for his system. Guess it is just an ongoing problem when you’re trying to recruit ANY talent to this program at this point. Maybe the coach should try some adjustments in his game planning??? Quote

GP1 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago There is something I really struggle with. Why hasn't Joe been able to bring in a program changing QB? I understand Finley is under siege, but he's also scared to death in the pocket. He's in his SIXTH year of college football. Either he stinks or he is completely and utterly damaged beyond repair. It's not just Akron. Why do so many schools bring in these journeymen players (I can't believe I just used that term about college sports) when so many of them aren't very good? If they were really good, they wouldn't be willing more than two schools. Is this just a product of programs trying to figure out the transfer portal? Quote
