Zip_ME87 Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM (edited) Winner takes the Big East Midwest Division. Creighton, however, can also claim the division with a draw. I don't want to think about scenarios that result in a BE Tourney appearance short of a WIN. I have confidence that our Zips can rise to this challenge and prevail. Go Zips!!! TennZip Posted Wednesday at 09:52 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 09:52 PM Creighton started their season with 3 matches on the road. Since starting the season 0-2-2, the Blue Jays are 8-1-2 in their last 11 games. Creighton has not lost a game this year at home. Their home record is 5-0-2. Over the last 11 games, Creighton has played like a top 20 team. 1 2 Quote
Ham Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I checked out Creighton's presser. They are focused on gaining some revenge tonight. Weather is great right now; should be no factor for the match. My wife and I are making the 2 hour drive to Omaha; hope to see a few other Zips there. 5 Quote
Zips1991 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago You know, I'd feel a lot better if this game was at home 😂 but I'm confident in the team to get it done! 1 Quote

Mitch Budler said in the press conference (after last week's game) that there would be roughly 100 Budler family and friends at the game. 1 Quote

The last time the Budler's attended a game this season in Akron, they mentioned organizing a tailgate at Creighton for Akron fans. Also hoped to get Akron fans seated together to make their presence louder. GO ZIPS!!! Quote
MDZip Posted 58 minutes ago Report Posted 58 minutes ago I think it would be best for Akron for Seton Hall to win tonight. They have the best result against the best team, a tie against Georgetown and will have beaten both Providence and Connecticut and the Zips have a tie against them. So we want Seton Hall to make the tournament over just about anybody else who hasn't qualified yet to try to help our chances. Quote

I had initially thought it would be better for UConn to beat Seton Hall but then TennZip's post helped me realize it would be better for Seton Hall to win. A win and obviously the Zips are #2 seed. A draw and we'd make it with a Providence loss and a NON-draw between Seton Hall and UConn. A loss and there's still a chance to make it if Seton Hall and Georgetown both win...I think. Quote
