Assuming the one first place vote for Creighton is from Coach Embick, because you can't vote for yourself, that means the other 11 coaches picked Akron to win the Midwest Division!

Moreover, #12 feels about right.

Some carnage ahead of us night 1 in college soccer. 

 

#1 Washington went down 1-2 to #18 San Diego

 

#2 NC State had a 0-0 tie with Coastal Carolina

 

#3 Furman lost 1-5 to Clemson

 

#10 Bryant drew UMass 2-2

 

#11 Virginia lost to UCLA 1-2

 

Also of note...

 

#23 WVU lost 0-3 to Charlotte

 

#24 UConn lost 1-2 to Syracuse

St. Louis hosts SMU (ranked 15 in preseason coaches poll) on Monday the 24th.  That should be a great matchup and will also help the RPI for the Billikens.

What Ohio State honk is running these rankings? From unranked week 1 to #6 in week 3 with 0 ranked wins.

I think it’s purely based on this year results. Doesn’t factor in history like the ncaa 25

They must have made a cocktail with fermented Buck Nuts.

 

Don't worry, OSU will get snapped back into reality when OSU plays @Kentucky, Washington, @UCLA, Indiana, and @Maryland. They are lucky they aren't playing the Zips this year.
