  2. Don't know where else to put this, http://www.cleveland.com/akron/index.ssf/2017/02/crains_akron_business_now_avai.html I have not read the Rubber City Daily myself yet, but it's almost like cleveland.com realized there is a void in Akron news coverage

  3. Did DIG come back under a new screen name? Anyway, Buffalo played the game of their lives, shooting over 50 percent, and near 50 from 3. If I recall correctly, the 3 point percentage was a huge anomaly. On top of that, we were 11-31 from 3. Not exactly hitting our shots as I put it. I feel pretty comfortable if the Zips play their game, Buffalo won't beat them.

  4. At this juncture, they all worry me. I've been a sports fan from the Cleveland area for too long! Always looking for the performance letdown, contraband filled US mail delivery or bruised girlfriend just waiting around the corner...

  5. I am a season ticket holder and have bought GA tickets numerous times during the season at the window before a game. The first time I bought them and identified myself as a season ticket holder the price was $10. I believe this is a fringe benefit of being a season ticket holder is to buy GA tickets for $10. Great policy since it rewards those people who support the team.

  6. Meh, I didn't see them lowering the price as a means to sell more tickets. The tickets would have sold anyways with that small of a supply left. There will probably be people showing up to buy tickets the day of the game and won't be able too. It's a good way to make STH feel more appreciated and who knows maybe it leads to a few people they bring to buy season tickets next year. Also, if an Akron STH is purchasing to bring a friend, spouse, family, etc. it's keeping those tickets out of a Kent fans hands.

  8. Every team worries me in Cleveland. Actually, the team that worries me the most is us. If we play like we played in Athens any team in the league can beat us. If we play our game, no team in the league can beat us. Most of all, 6'10, 320-pound Dog playing 3 games in 3 days worries me. Before this weekend my top 3 concerns were 1. Buffalo 2. EMU 3. CMU But given their recent struggles, I'm going to knock EMU & CMU off the list & say only one team truly worries me: Buffalo. If we play our best and they play their best, it's going to be a good game and could go either way. OU may be a distant 2nd now, but only because the league has so much parity behind us. And again, it's a d...i...s...t...a...n...t second to UB. Again, if we play like we did in Athens, we'd lose in the first round of the MACT... and deservedly so.

  9. Nice find @TennZip ...The actual transaction for Najem looks like this: New York Red Bulls trade the Right of First Refusal to Adam Najem to Philadelphia. The Union traded their 2018 Natural 2nd Round SuperDraft pick to New York Red Bulls. The Union traded away their second round pick of next years draft, for a potential top ten pick from this past draft had Najem entered. This is incredibly smart on the parts of Earnie Stewart and Chris Albright. These two have totally revamped this team. This signing is essentially the Union getting a top ten first round draft pick. Which is monumental, especially since Philly didn’t have a first round pick this past draft. The Najem deal is the icing on the cake for an offseason full of smart moves. let’s look at some of the newest signings accolades. ...
