Hello to everyone. My name is Tiffany. I am Fred's daughter. There aren't words to describe how much your kind words about dad have lifted me up. He was extremely passionate about the Zips. I mean, I pretty much grew up in the JAR. If any of you have a favorite photo or anything you would like to share, please do. Even maybe loaning memorabilia... I am trying to put together some photo boards and items to display at the viewing. I will hopefully have a date and time set for services today. I will post them on here. My dad has been so blessed to have a great group of people to call his friends.

Clayton made us proud just a few minutes ago by winning the USATF National Indoor Championships in the 1,000 meter run in Albuquerque. Patented Murphy kick helped finish thos ome off. Fastest time in the world this season at that distance. Plus, Dwight Stone, while doing color commentating, mentioned Clayton still finishing his degree at U of A, and that he was still working with coach Lee Labadie, and mentioned that Lee ran a 3:58 mile while runnIng for he Illini...and NBC Sports Network running commercials for USATF gear with Clayton modeling some pullovers....and sooo humble too.

Long time Zips fan and ZN.o member Go Zips peacefully passed away tonight as his beloved Zips dispatched hated KSU. Fred was a longtime volunteer assistant with the basketball program dating back to the Bob Huggins era. If anyone ever bled blue and gold it was Fred. He was very opinionated but he truly loved every kid that passed through the program. Fred had a stroke late last year and was sorely missed by the staff and team. He did make it to one final game on February 14th, a win against Toledo. RIP Go Zips!

I voted for GT for LJOY.

If Utomi had been given minutes earlier in the season he would have made All-Freshman team. He and Miami's Michael Weathers were the two best freshmen I saw.

There could be 20 teams better than us in the committees eyes, left out because there weren't at large spots left. A 12 seed doesn't mean you were close to an at large. It means there are 18 auto-qualifiers worse than you.

Check out MAC player, Antonio Brown's 40 times. Recently the highest paid receiver in the NFL was asked why he is so successful coming out of the MAC..."I work harder than anybody else." Jerome has the talent, if he works as hard as AB, I have no doubt he can have an NFL career. There is a great interview with Richard Sherman I saw this year, I can't seem to locate it right now, he was asked who the toughest receiver to cover was, his answer was AB, he went on to explain why and mentioned it had nothing to do with his speed because he didn't think he was that fast. Does it help to be the fastest guy on the field? Sure. Do you need to be? No. Underwear olympics will continue to create this argument.
