  1. Everyone wins and nobody does :-). The only three people who guessed the combo of Noah (2) and Josh (3) to lead in combined three pointers (Kwan/Ivey 2/0 and Antino/Utomi 1/0) also guessed that Kwan was going to lead in the points/rebounds combo. Big Dog won that one by a long shot (double double of 24 and 10 to Kwan's 8 and 4) so I'm going to give the win to the memory of GoZips.

  2. I think the key to the EMU game...the key to winning a MAC title...and the key to winning an NCAA tournament game comes down to KPP. K= Kwan. When he's completely on his game, he's a guy that people project could play in the NBA. When he's off, the Zips can lose to anyone. We need Kwan on the floor, competing. We don't need him with a towel over his face, slumped over in a chair at the end of the bench. Kwan needs to be mentally tough, and impact the game through defense and rebounding when his shot isn't falling. If he does, we dance. No one in the MAC can touch us. P = Poise. Just because the Zips offense is predicated on taking a lot of threes doesn't mean you have the green light to hoist 26 footers with reckless abandon. Pass up a good shot for a great shot, and we can't be beat. And at the end of tight games, play like a champion. The coaches need to draw up solid plays, and the guys need to execute them. No sloppy late-game play! P = Pace. The slower the Zips play, the easier they are to defend. Noah, Jimmond, Kwan and Antio play their best basketball when they're attacking. For Kwan, a faster pace means less thinking...he plays his best when he's not over-thinking. And, if you score before Big Dog makes it halfway up the court, you save him 46 x 2 feet of movement! This team has the chance to not only win tonight, but win an NCAA tourney game. Our bigs are P5 bigs. Looking at our roster, I don't know that we'll be able to say that again for a while. Go for the Gusto, Zips!! Let it all hang out and great things will happen!

  3. Thad Matta has plateaued, and has been plateaued for some time now. His tournament appearances are like Dambrot's 21 win seasons - participation trophies. Not to mention he had the one big run to the Championship game and has progressively regressed year after year. It shouldn't be this hard to have more success at OSUcks. He also supposedly has some major health problems. Plus, if Senderoff is Mr. Pinky, Matta is Mr. Red. Not sure I've ever seen someone get so red so easily.

  4. I'm watching the replay now -- 17:40 to play 2nd half. Really strange situation: Noah has a breakaway layup opp, but for some reason stops about 4 ft from the hoop, and the big guy from EMU pushes Noah with two hands (probably couldn't help running into Noah!) and WHAT -- Noah gets T'd up??? WHAT in the world happened there?? Almmost funny. Why did Noah just stop?? I was going to say overall -- this may have been Noah Robatham's best game of the year. Did just about ALL you hope for! Especially the little things we expect from a PG. But that ONE play -- Maybe the strangest play I've seen all year!

  6. OK you can go now - up by 16 with 2 minutes to go should be safe.

  9. I have it on my IPad and now my droid. I don't own a Mac so I wouldn't know. Really any VPN should work.
