  1. Merry Christmas to all of Zipnation & Happy New Year, let’s hope this team takes another step in the right direction in 2018. Zips return almost the whole defense & hopefully it can carry the team until the offense catches up.

  4. WMU 1/2. Not sure if that's a confidence pick, or a I-hope-we-get-the-monkey-off-our-back pick, but I'm going with it.

  5. To roughly quote Mater from Cars, I'd give my left lug-nut for a new OC, let alone it being a stocking gift. We as Zips fans owe a lot to Larry Fitz, actually. If I remember correctly, he convinced Charlie Frye to stay for his senior year by telling him that he'll like playing for JD Brookhart. JD was at Pitt during Larry's time there.

  7. What makes you so sure that we will win one of those 5? You need to add another poll option: (None of the above) and that would be my pick. I hope the young Zips will prove me wrong but we all knew that this was going to be a tough transition year.

  9. The Adrian Barbeaus...ugh. I think the "Yo Adrians" would be much better.

  11. Well, I was hoping for a win or two in Hawaii, but in the end I keep hearing Dennis Green's rant "they are what we thought they were." Young, short handed and too thin at the bigs. A .500 or slightly better team. The zone troubles have been obvious all season. They were just magnified in Hawaii. Way too much dribbling and not enough movement. I trust Groce and his staff to work it out.
