  1. He didn't have a great game against UB but ???? Rebounding his missed layups? He can't shoot 74% from the field for the season by "rebounding his own missed layups".

  2. What's the difference between an athletic and academic scholarship? As long as one gets their education and expenses paid for, that's all that matters, right?

  3. Thanks guys for the continued civil and thoughtful discussion. While we have our disagreements occasionally, this part of Zips Nation runs smoothly in large part due to the decorum of its participants.

  4. None of us believe this statement. 😏 But I think a lot of people on here do want to believe he'll move on just to get him out of the league 🙂

  5. I'm an OU grad and fan. No way he's a first round prospect. Those guys are just showing their ignorance -- likely haven't even seen him play. He's got a weird but compelling combination of skills, but that's not enough in the NBA. Not fast enough, strong enough or a good enough passer or shooter to contribute at that level IMO. I love his story and he's fun to watch, but come on.

  6. Good for him. I can't imagine practicing every day & never setting a foot on the court. Though with his attitude I liked him being around the team, ala, LePear Toles.

  7. A rare occasion where the MAC gets two teams in the NIT with both Toledo and Buff getting bids. I know a lot of the blue bloods like Duke, Louisville, etc. declined to go, but it's still amazing that the MAC got 2 of the 16 spots this year.

  8. Just out of curiosity I wondered where this loss stood up in the annals (I think anals would be appropriate too) in MAC conference history. As it turns out this stands as the single worst loss (by score) in the MAC in Zips history. Wow. Still sort of impressive in a way that the Zips had never been beaten in conference by more than 2-0 to this point.

  11. To piggy back on my opinion of where the MAC is, we get two NIT bids for the first time since 06. Thats also with a shortened field and no auto bid to the regular season champ.

  12. Watching him play live you can see offensively he is very limited, has bad hands and doesn’t have natural instincts. The box score lies with him sometimes (rebounding his own missed layups). Defensively he has great instincts and will be our best defender since Marshall. Hopefully he can bulk up and be able to go toe to toe with the bigs Buffalo & OU have.

  13. they look as bad as the 3-0 score indicated outhustled to 50/50 balls.... no cohesiveness on passes lazy , sloppy back passes led to first 2 goals... goal keeper error led to 3rd goal really missed Pol Hernandez on left side I will have to look at player stats...but it looked like Pacheco sat for the first 26 minutes of 2nd half no offense today on left side of the field

  14. Congrats to the Bonnies on being the regular season and tournament champs in the A10. Pretty sold showing for a middle of the road A10 squad.
