I can't believe we lost on a fumble return for TD on a run that would have put us in make-able, even for our kickers, FG range. I knew we were on the way to winning that came. But in the end we lost because our OL is a sieve. Too many sacks and pressures. No holes for the running game. This year we are losing because of poor execution. Last three years we lost because of zero coaching. Execution can, and will be, fixed. Jo knows what he is doing. Trust the process.

Can't wait to head down to the Info here in a few hours. This will actually be my oldest daughter's first Akron sporting event (I forgot we had tickets to the Guardians game the same day as BUGS). Kent went up 21-0 6 minutes into the game @ Toledo. Right after the Zips’ heartbreaker. Man, I couldn’t believe how bad the day was going. Then had a few beers and found peace in the result at Info, and see Kent wound up losing 52-31! Always a beautiful day when those a-holes go down, especially like that.

This is the frame of the play right before the fumble. DJ keeps—10+ yard gain up the middle or a TD. Handoff to Price—easy TD or go down before you get into the end zone to avoid a Browns-Jets situation. Man, what a colossal mistake. Sucks sucks sucks.

This team is so damn frustrating

Putrid performance outside of the TD and maybe 1-2 more plays on offense. Coming up empty after the turnover is unacceptable, the sack DJ took is completely unacceptable, still so many kinks. Lucky to be tied.

CMU beat us with a screen and dump off on a blitz that drive. IMO thats a bi-product of our natural lack of pass rush activity. We are working so hard on getting to the QB that reading a screen or covering the check down is an after thought.

Depends. Do Hankerson and Hunter come in and push for all conference recognition or are they just another guy? Losing Dawson hurts a bit.

Bingo. There is no quit in this team - they play for JoeMo. They believe in what he's doing, and fans should, too. There just isn't enough talent in the cupboards yet to play a less-than-perfect game and overcome the inevitable mistakes to win. We will get there.
