  1. I’ve been told Bradley makes an appearance at the JAR as well

  2. It's on the low side, albeit not too far off as you stated from the mainstream/national outlook. However, I think that outlook is shifting as people dive deeper into the program. Sportsbooks are shifting more heavily towards 4+ wins, for example. We were 2-3 bounces away from 2-3 more wins last year.

  3. This sounds good to me.At least to begin the season plugging Thornton - a transfer 5th year senior - into the starting PG role makes me a little more comfortable than starting Tavari - a true sophomore. Maybe after Christmas see how Tavari’s looking in that #1 PG role.

  4. That would be an interesting game Or maybe Thornton at the 1, Tribble at the 2, Ali at the 3, hunter at the 4, then Rique at the 5

  5. 5-7, and based on recent history, I would consider that a huge success this season, almost something to crack open some champagne for!

  6. Here’s Rivals new feature of comprehensive team rankings for the 2023 class. And MAC rankings. I’ll go ahead and spoil it. Akron is #1 in the MAC and #89 Nationally.

  9. If anyone is interested in watching the 2023 JUCO signees outside of a highlight reel, there is full game film on YouTube for each of them. A few thoughts below: Kabbash Richards and Antonio Smith are built similar (Kabbash has a little more mass at this point) and both are clearly being brought in to rush the passer. They could be utilized in the OLB role if we see more of a 3-4 alignment this year. CJ Nunnally is probably the most well rounded DE of the bunch. Stronger against the run, but not quite as much of a pass rusher as Richards and Smith. LaJoshua Jackson played DT at JUCO and will likely play DE in 3 man fronts and be slid inside in 4 man fronts. Tyler Carter has solid size and moves extremely well for a 300 pounder. He’s a little raw right now, but could develop into a starter over the coming years. Honestly, they are all a bit raw. However there is some nice upside to this group and it’s a more versatile collection of players than we had last year. Especially when they are combined with the portal guys and the few returning players. I’m not expecting our DL to be the best in the MAC by any stretch, but I’d be shocked if we didn’t have far more QB pressures than what was produced in 2022.

  10. Was mildly disappointed we picked up neither Georgetown nor Villanova on the road this year since both are reasonable commutes - until I saw the Big East tournament will be 40 minutes from me. 😊I'll be there.
