Would really like to know what the 'secret scrimmage' format was: Was it a 'game scrimmage' w/20-minute halfs and a break in between. Was it officiated? Was the scrimmage 2 20-minute halfs, 1-on-1s, 2-on-2s. Officiated? Was it more structured? 20-min man-to-man, 20-min zone and so forth? Was it fully officiated. As you can see, these 'secret scrimmages' can have a variety of formats. So the final 'score' may not be really indicative of a true 'game' score. And again, officiating (or none) could make a difference as well. In the end, not too bummed about the score.

I don't blame Coach for that penalty. The no call by the officials was egregious. The defender had tackled the receiver before the ball got there. I also thought Coach, while getting after the ref, wasn't anything more than you normally see after a call. So the refs doubled down on bad calls.

I know what the money goes toward. I don't know rather to pissed of that you are calling me entitled, or continue to be pissed off that my football team can not find a way to score 21 points. I have supported this team for 35 plus years. I can count on (now 2 hands) how many games I've missed since 1986. When I finally decided to upgrade to club seats I was sold on the buffet. I expected different food occasionally, that sure as hell does not make me entitled. I have 2 degree from this university, and I certainly expect to get a little something for my ticket donation, especially when one of the selling points was free food. I'm not asking for much, give me a pasta once in a while....that's it.

after the 40 point scrimmage loss to a hungrier YSU team, I have no expectations for this game.

I know nothing ... (wish I did) ... I am questioning if he is eligible. I haven't seen or heard any official or unofficial word either from this board or from the athletic department. That's why I hedged a bit on Zips being consensus MAC favorites. Like I said ... Zips are certainly MAC favorites w/Ali, but just one of several contenders w/o him. Hoping for the best ... but just my opinion.

If you think $500 for that isn't any kind of value, which to each his own, about 10x that amount gets you stale popcorn and warm terrible beer at another MAC stadium a few miles away. In my eyes, as someone who has experienced each and every seating option at Infocision at one point or another, the real value on level 5 is the warmth and comfort it provides when the weather sucks.

I'm not sure I agree this is entitlement, it's looking at the value for what you're paying. For what amounts to $100 per game, you should get tremendous value, and if that isn't coming via the product (the team), you'd expect it to be made up in other areas.

Yes. The club level allows everyone to eat not just the special few. When you get off the elevator, there is someone present to give you a wristband for the buffet. The food is pretty good for a football game. Also, there's a soda machine for free drinks. However, I think the horrible football puts everyone in a bad mood when they are at the game, so we look for something to complain about.

Prior to this season, your $500 ticket got you nothing but a seat. I find the level of entitlement in todays world exasperating. Sorry that menu (typical tailgate fare) not up to your standards. Does anyone sit in the club section? I am paying $500 for this wonderful abomination of the sport of football. I was convinced to buy club seats basically for access to the game day buffets. Here is the kicker though.... the food has been the exact same at all three games. Processed chicken fingers, brats, veggies, chips, chilli, fruit and cheese, soft pretzels, and cookies/brownies. The last game, some woman who thought she was the queen of the buffet actually stopped me from pouring my chilli to ask if I had a wristband to be allowed to eat the spread. I almost lost my mind. Here's hoping to something new Wednesday, AND nice welcoming food service workers.
