  2. I disagree. Over the years the U has gobbled up empty buildings seemingly without a long-term plan for them. Old Central-Hower High School for one. But the ultimate example is Quaker Square. The fact that University architect Ted Curtis was part owner of that complex should have triggered many alarms at the city and state levels.

  3. From what I’ve gathered, he went to a prep school this past year and reclassified from the 2024 class to 2025. He’ll be a true freshman.

  4. We offered him out of JUCO before he signed with WKU. Hardly played at WKU. Not sure what happened there. He’s not lacking in physical ability as he’s a good sized lineman with long arms, good feet, and mobile. Crushed guys at JUCO.

  7. What a long and distinguished pro career....that he has had.... I think this will be his 17th year in pro soccer. I think that Montreal was in the NASL in 2011 and that Montreal debuted in MLS in 2012 (so , I think that this will be his 14th year in MLS) Evan Bush needs to be applauded for his extraordinary professional career.

  8. As someone that works on main street this would be fantastic. They really do hit the nail on the head with describing downtown. Right now you've got from Cedar to Canal Park as a "section". Then mostly empty parking lots, the Mayflower, and main street side of polsky as another "section". Then Lock 3 and the Civic along with the businesses on the other side of the road. If you were to walk from Diamond Deli all the way down to Subway in the APS building, you encounter like 5 different sections of downtown. If new polsky can blend those sections together that would be huge

  9. Timing is odd. He played well this year. Good luck to him. Clears the way for Reed, White, and DeWalt…..assuming they don’t hit the road as well.

  10. I heard it was our coach's decision. Wanted the Youth Day crowd. It's the last day before break for a lot of schools though, and some have other activities planned. It may be tough to get any crowd that weekend before Christmas anyway.

  11. Blake Hester is playing for a DII National Championship on Saturday, as Valdosta State takes on Ferris State. Seems like he had a great season, with almost 1,000 yards rushing and 13 TDs.
