Ok got yeah. That part I understand.

I couldn't disagree with this more. It wasn't that long ago I would have to drive somewhere to get the AM signal so I could listen to the radio broadcast. Now I get to watch out team no matter where and when they play. To me the WatchESPN app is the greatest thing ever. on a side note: Whether we are on ESPN or ESPN3 it all pays the same.

It was bad!! They kept miss pronouncing the player names. They confused offensive and defensive players with the same number. It was also obvious that they hadn't even watched any of our games or did any research. Usually the producer and the analyst will pull stats and facts for the game and these guy seemed like all they did was look at some box scores the night before. They offered no kind of insight. My wife and I lost it when they showed Ulysses Grant. It was even funnier when they proceeded to call him that when he made the tackle on the next play.

On Zips Football with Terry they did a special on UG3. He said JB and him talk about everyday. JB watches every game then calls him to tell him what he did right and what he could do better.

Woodson is in street clothes

Yesterday Terry said Woody bruised his shoulder at the end of the App St. game. He said there isn't anything wrong structurally and he has been cleared by the doctors to play. Its a matter of being able to deal with the pain. Terry went on to say all last week Woody felt better and better but still had a lot of discomfort when he warmed up Saturday. Both qb's practice with the 1's this week and if Saturday Woody is still sore TC5 is ready to go.

HAHAHA

1) Miami under 16 pts. - A struggling offence that now is going to start a true freshman. They only avg 52 rushing yards a game so I don't see the run helping them out. 2) Akron will win by 18 +. I think this is the hard one because we won't need to put up big pts in this game. I think we still will put some pts on the board while Miami wont. 3) Zips will rush 32+ times. We avg of 28 attempts a game, and with the reasons I have above, we will have a lead and drain the clock more than we have been.

It's crazy he had 156 yards on kickoff returns.

So Ohio lost to Texas State that is on this list and won against Miami and Kansas that are also on the list. Their other win was against Gardner Web and the other loss was to Tennessee.

A couple things to note here. Our coaches did a great job with halftime adjustments. Fans usually say this when no adjustment was made but the team just plays better in the second half. This isn't the case. Kent ran a different offence than what they have shown by moving Holley from rb/wr to qb. They built upon what App St. ran against us. A lot of set ups with wr movement showing jet screens and option plays. We were making a lot of personnel changes in the first half that only added to the confusion with all formation changes kent was making. The second half we corrected these issues. We started splitting the field in half and letting the corners and safeties switch off and they understood the assignments. In the first half that lead to wide open receivers when we switch off then was caught looking in the back field. The tackling issues still need fixed. Kent only had 138 yard rushing on 41 attempts. On offence we started the game by playing "Tommy's" offence. Chapman doesn't have the arm strength or the game experience to run a down field air assault. The second half we ran more of what the Chapman redzone offence is. Quick passes and screens along with option run and clear out qb keepers. It was nice to see a coordinator abort a game plan that didn't work and go with what the players do best.

During Kent's band at halftime I got on here and seen everyone was about to commit suicide. We came back and won so I hope all of you are alright.

Terry is on WAKR every Wednesday. He then is on 1350 every Thursday for Zips live. He also has Zips Football with Terry Bowden on STO that airs on Mondays. I hear him on Sirius radio from time to time. I've seen him on CBS Sports and he was a key speaker on Outside the Lines on ESPN. The dude is all over the place.

Yes the football twitter and facebook said tailgating lots will be closed from 7am to 9:30am.

Did you guys notice that the right guard is looking back into the back field just like a center in some of these pics. I'm guessing this is to get the signal as to if he is pulling and to what side. Did anyone see this in the Miami game?

The Marcel Weems era ... I had to go back and look at the schedule from then. What is so different is we opened the schedule with conference play and ended with ooc. One other thing of note is we beat ohio that year. That's something that we are past due on now. 1992 Zips

Thanks for posting that about GP1. I had wondered what happened with him. I was one of the "many people who read but don't post" . I too took time off from this site at that time due to all the negativity.

The score prediction is ridiculous but I found it funny that you could switch the words Akron and Marshal around in that article and not notice. Our strengths and weaknesses seem to be the same.

We will be out at 9am. When Info first opened and they patrolled I was just told by the officer. If I can't see it then I don't have to know. So we just bring cozies .
