No he made the throws into the wind. He struggled with putting too much air under the ball when it was at his back and over throwing his receivers. Bowden also said having the wind at O'Leary's back was why he decided to kick the 48 yd field goal. He figured it would make the fg fairly easy but the fact it was 48 yrds would give Tom some confidence going forward.
