  1. Some really poor shot selection from BG with 7 mins left
  2. I think allowing the guys to stand and spread out when they arent playing makes a huge difference for them.
  3. What's Akron's record this year? What's Duquense's?
  4. If this years team hadnt had the late start, likely undefeated in league play.
  5. Yazoo City. Watching replay...liking this team almost as much as last years. The depth and variety this team offers is fun to watch
  6. That's almost better than Garrettsville State. Thank you for letting us know. Will definitely watch that one. Miami hung in there with Toledo. Owens maybe turning the corner.
  7. 5 or 6 wins next year.
  8. COVID Cardinals.
  9. Yellow Springs, Ohio.
  10. Yuck. Got a bit cocky and LCJ back in
  11. Flop?
  12. Was it a q-final in the afternoon? I seem to remember coming home from work early and turning it on right when all of of this went down.
  13. I like Arth. I think he is doing this the right way and am happy and relieved that he is staying with the Zips.
  14. There were a # of close games and Zips always seemed to meet them in Cleveland or maybe its just taken on a life of its own. Too much of this stuff.
  15. Who flipped what score?
  16. That was the craziest game the Zips won that I ever attended. People in front of me walked out before it was over. Down by 5 with a minute left. I think they had to foul and keep extending the game. And as we know, missing FTs can be contagious on a team. Groce needed some luck and he got it. EMU's Spottsville missed both FTs right before X made the winning shot and then Channel took the charge that had him down on the floor while Rob Murphy stormed around screaming at the refs. That was an important game. Akron had just loss two in a row (Buffalo at home and Kent on the road) and 2 in a row at home (Toledo and Buffalo). Zips losing 3 MAC games in a row at home wasn't an option.
  17. Remember last year's EMU game at the JAR? U G L Y!
  18. good point. one's heart can be fickle.
  19. always the cynic?
  20. sorry, I jumped on your post. you are one of the best on here.
  21. I agree with all of that. my issue was with B&G saying Dailey has a fragile ego. Was weird, Dailey made the big 3 pointer against Toledo much like X made a couple game winners last season.
  22. Yes, Groce isn't playing Maishe in order to keep Maishe's ego happy. These four games were good practice for March in Cleveland. I'm sure the staff is thinking ahead to that and the back up rotations needed to keep the legs fresh.
  23. Everyone rips on Maishe. How do you know he has a fragile psyche? He's a solid guy. Groce doesn't recruit whiners.
