    Miami is at Toledo on Tuesday and Zips have NIU. Then Zips head to Muncie and Toledo to Canada for two nationally televised MACtion games on Friday. Meanwhile, PCCC has two cupcakes before facing Miami. Exciting end to regular season.

    whatever. close enough Weird not having played Canada so far. PCCC, Kittens, and Canada lingering one game back. With only 8 teams going to Cleveland, not sure how the seeding matters other than maybe best to get Toledo in final game.

    BG started being BG again. Up 16, took an early greedy shot. Missed and gave Jackson 3 in transition. Then turned it over.

    Watching replay, and Dakich is going off on refs and the 1999? Miami team. He said there was an 8 count on a 10 second call and bad call on a charge and that Miami shouldn't have been in the NCAA tournament. But looks like PCCC won in 1999 and Miami was an at large. Any MAC historians know what he is talking about?

    Watched part of that game. Mike Davis and Detroit were up by 16 at half and held on for the win.

    Thats the look I saw in Groces eyes after LCJ drained that 3. The Hustle is the last few minutes with the steals and the crazy baskets reminded me of those OU tourney teams. Dakich pulled himself together last night and watched the game and gave some good insights. Zips are getting these national TV games in part because of LCJ. Theres a star on the floor.

    I watched a replay of it and at the end after LCJ made that amazing 3 pointer the camera panned to Groce and his eyes told a story of ... wow, this is special. NIU Tuesday then a tough trip to Muncie. Will be anxious to watch Toledo at Buffalo. Canada is lurking in 3rd place.

    Considering everything, I'm just happy they are contending and they can play in Cleveland. Got my tix so hopefully at least make the semis. Let's see Groce do his thing. That being said, if there was a season for the NCAA to mix things up a bit this would be the year since there will be no huge traveling fan bases, etc.

    Certainly a one bid league but maybe $$$ and number of fans a school can bring to a venue wont play as big a part in selection Sunday

    yeah, during half time, the CBS guys talked about the MAC and how Toledo and Akron were the class of the conference. One guy said Akron was the top team with the backcourt of Trimble and Jackson. And after watching, Rootstown A&T and BG fall over themselves all night I have to agree. Not sure where Canada and Nelsonville C.C. fit into the equation.
