Two great matchups for the Zips to start the season. With those two and then heading to a tourney, I have no problem going D3 in between. This Zips team is incredibly athletic and deep. When Ali gets back it only gets deeper. My only goal for the next game against the 'Berg is a couple Wilson 3's.

The Can’t kickers were missing wide left the entire warm up so that is our one point lead. Nice to see some else make their fans sick.

She's got better guns than some of our QB's and looks faster than some of the O-line.

I have to ask what Arth era games were you watching where there was a lot of talent? Arth wasn’t even building a team that would have been good at DI-AA. If you check the TP threads you will see most of the Arth kids that left ended up going to lower divisions or not playing anymore (or ended up places that weren’t big enough for us to find).

He’s better than Arth who posted losing records anywhere he was outside of D3 John Carroll. Joe was excellent at Fordham and was 14-12 in the SEC. Coach Joe has been hurt by Recruiter Joe. Not a news flash for ZNO that he needs to find us a QB. You cannot tell me there was anything to build on when Joe arrived. The cupboard was bare. The D (even after NIU) is much improved and with a QB Joe is the best bet to fix this. Tell me who you would hire if you were the AD.

The first pass was behind Adams but he got both hands on it and it’s 2nd and 10 instead of 2nd and 5.

Zones have soft spots but not huge open lanes so I think it’s on the players as well.

Good luck getting any of the non-ZNO, casual football fans to come back this season. Games like this kill any chance of generating a fan base or getting a walk up crowd. The stands are going to get emptier and quieter as we move forward. On to soccer, hoops and 80 proof or better beverages. Talk to you all in a week or so.
