Jackson has been horrible. Let Cheese play point and put Banks in forJackson.

Keep taking it to the hoop

4 out of 23 from 3 point range

Great effort in the first half. Defense is clicking. Utomi is playing strong and getting inside some. Jackson needs to focus on facilitating and let his offense come to him. He is forcing it. We need to drive and get closer shots in the second half, Utomi can dominate inside 15 feet, keep up the defensive effort, and leave with a win. Jackson needs to play smart.

I love the YSU game. Lots of local interest. I would like to see regular scheduling with Sun Belt schools, perhaps Georgia State and Georgia Southern as Georgia seems to be a recruiting hotbed for our coaches. Home and home with Cincinnati would be huge also.

Buffalo is such a good team. Great guard play and strength inside. Zips need to keep up the defensive effort and get some semblance of an inside game to win this. Will be fun to watch. I may be eating some nachos with my cheeeese.

Playing well but getting destroyed inside. With Sayles out any foul trouble inside will really hurt.

Game 20- Northern Illinois Huskies

I think Eman deserves an extended opportunity at the center spot. Rim protector and rebounder and in the past he has been able to make layups. If he fouls out oh well you have Riak and Sayles. -
I usually go to 1 or 2 games per year. I live 1 hour and 45 minutes away so it is not very convenient for me to bring my kids to a game especially with all the activities they are involved in. I have yet to make it to a game this year. Fortunately for me, but not the attendance numbers, I have been able to watch every game the Zips have played due to the many different platforms available to me. So, while I am waiting for my daughter at her dance class or another activity I can watch the game on my phone. It is so much more convenient for me to watch from ESPN, ESPN+ and other online platforms than to make the all day commitment to a game and the money involved. Same goes for football. Let's Go Zips!

Zips look like Roo Ghosts in those uniforms. Sayles cannot buy a layup.

We didn't talk about winning the MAC. The coach expressed that Arth is well respected among high school coaches.

I talked with a well respected Ohio high school football coach this morning. He said we should be excited about Arth. Called him the real deal. He thinks Arth will make inroads with Ohio recruiting.

Gotta come out of halftime playing man defense. We come out in 1-3-1 zone and give up quick buckets. Now getting steam rolled. -
Good young man. Wish him the best and max success.

Major push off wow

Looks like Arth is recruiting JUCO hard right now trying to fill holes. I hope we still get a good number of freshmen in February.

If our bigs can improve we have a chance to be dangerous come tourney time. Our wings are very good. Sayles does not seem to be in shape to me. Last year I saw him elevate and crush some dunks. Last night he got blocked several times. Crush it young man! What was up with Eman not playing?

A bad angle to this could be that a college keeps a coach on staff until after the early signing period to save recruits then fire him and hire a replacement for the next round of signings. I hope that never happens.

Recruit! Recruit! Recruit! I hope he is the guy to take us to the next level. Now get out and Recruit!

I think if this search extends into this weekend it is because the AD wants to talk with Kehres. Kehres would be a home run in my opinion.

I see that. I thought he had more success at Nevada than that.

I am not big on Notre Dame, especially based on past experience with a former Akron head coach who shall not be named (Faust Excluded). It would surprise me that Brian Polian would be interested in Akron. If he is, he would be a huge get for Akron. He has been a successful head coach at Nevada, has great connections, and has been Notre Dame's recruiting coordinator. Recruiting is the life blood of college football and those connections can prove very valuable. I think a lot of the names that have been floated have potential. Polian seems to be a premier candidate IMO.

Akron has a gem with this soccer program. The school, community, and administration needs to fully support the program due to its elite status and keep it there. Invest in soccer.
