I was planning on attending the Bowling Green game next week and then traveling to Athens for the Ohio game. I think I’ll stay home and work on my honey do list so my wife will be happy. Happy wife, happy life. Hoping soccer makes a good run. Looking forward to hoops making big progress. Looking forward to the nice football recruiting class we have. And very much looking forward to a new offensive coordinator next year.

I can’t watch anymore of this offense

Worst offense in college football. I don’t know how the game is close. Maybe we can get a fluke win.

Looked to me like Groce was trying to give his small squad an extended look last night to see how they would respond. Once we went bigger we played better. I think that is what Groce likes about this team. He likes having the diversity to play big or small depending on the matchup. I don’t read too much into the first half. That was an experiment. This team needs to work on chemistry which is to be expected with so many new faces. This team has a lot of athletes and good enough size to compete with anyone in the MAC and many power schools. Groce is building this team with an eye toward the tournament. Could be an explosive team and very dangerous in March. I was eagerly anticipating Hester’s arrival this year. I thought he would be the catalyst this season. Hurts our backcourt depth as Jackson is the only clear point we have. Roscoe may be an adequate backup eventually. Walter won’t get an playing time against quality opponents unless we have severe foul trouble or injury. Looking forward to an entertaining year.

Noah is a good player. I enjoyed watching him play. Carried himself well. I wish him all the best.

Does anyone know the status of Kato for the game this week?

I may need a 5th of something if I continue to watch Zips games which I will.

Kato played well and offense scored some points. Defense made good adjustments and played hard. Losing Kato hurt and hopefully he is OK. The difference was the physical play of NIU. NIU is good.

Well that didn’t help.

Defense has made great adjustments. Kudos to the coaches. Kato was having a good game. Need a drive here. It’s Ramart’s time to shine.

Nelson has had a very good game. I hope his knee is alright.

The ref is not the issue. Getting destroyed physically is the issue.

Getting pounded up front. Halftime adjustments will be key.

NIU is the more physical team right now. We need to change that dynamic. Offense got one, now step up defense.

Glad to see Bell is back

Buffalo is clearly the favorite and rightly so. Nevertheless, this is great bulletin board material. The Zips were shown no respect with 5th place voting and neither Ivey or Utomi making either the first or second teams. Great opportunity for the team, Ivey and Utomi, to prove them wrong. #GoZips

First down throw a bomb. Second down run for two yards. Third down throw a bomb. Hope to hit a bomb or punt. That seems to be Milwees offense. Once we started running the ball decently it opened up the middle for passing, then we started fumbling. I’ve seen enough Milwee to know I’ve seen enough Milwee.

Terry Bowden after the game was asked what he thought of his team’s offensive execution. He responded that he was in favor of it. Did anyone see what Walter Brady did to get ejected? The referee said he had an unsportsmanlike then another for hitting the ref. JK about the Bowden remark.

The D won the game while the offense tried to lose it.
