I like the way the schedule is set up for the East, where we start with Miami and BGSU on the road, where we should be able to win and get OU and Can't at home. For this team that would seem to be a good way to start. At the end we get three East homes games too. I do not, however, like the MAC West setup. We get what are likely the three toughest MAC West opponents on the road.

I hope we don't schedule them again next year. I hard a hard time trying to decide to root for Marshall to do well or Marshall to do poorly or both. And so I hope we don't schedule Walsh as our D-III game next year either.

Zip Alum Karma!! Wonder when Jerry Jones and the rest of the so-called "experts" are gonna wake up to the fact that Tony Romo is the most overrated player in the NFL. Eight years and counting... Meanwhile, the billionaire has 1 playoff in 15 years of ownership? Still sad to see that Chase is our best NFL player right now with Taylors retirement. They said something like....former Auburn coach Terry Bowden hired by Akron. Is is a good move? In the last 24 games Akron is 2-22, yes it was a good move. this guy can win. Wayne State may not be the backwater everyone assumes it to be. This story shows the university affiliations of the owners of all 122 of the big four professional sports teams. Wayne State is tied with Yale, Penn, Dartmouth and NYU for sixth place. There may be a lot deeper pockets and support there than you think. Dan Gilbert of the Cavaliers, Lily Tomlin, Casey Kasem and Hugh Downs are all Wayne State grads. Might add a little to the explanation of why he decided to stay.
