If there was ever a year where the Zips could win without an absolutely stellar team this could be the year. There are no juggernauts this year.

I never got to meet Phil but he was definitely one of the most recognizable Zips fans whether it was on TV or you were there in person. Seemed to be a man who truly loved the game. My condolences to the McKnight family as well. The Zips family has lost a great friend.

Surprisingly, the show is not going to be broadcast on ESPNU as it has been the past two years. Maybe they couldn't locate an ACC shill to be the commentator this year.

I have to disagree on that point. If Zeke gives it his best, the only thing that would prevent him from falling short (of an NBA career) is a major injury (hate to even think about that). His combination of height, length, agility, intelligence and speed is EXTREMELY rare. John Edwards and Chris Dudley played for many years in the NBA. That's all I have to say about that.

Of course, it won the NCAA College Cup last year.
