We need DIG to come back and compute the magic number for us to win the MAC. We know that two losses wins the mac, but it should be even better based on who plays who and tie breakers. In other words, there should be 3 or 4 games that if we win closes the deal.

Actually, we have a history of this. Deji, people cringed when he went into a game, we all expected him to transfer. Big Dog, who I famously called a "boat anchor". Mike Bardo suddenly did some good stuff for us in his senior year. Sometimes guys have to grow into their bodies. Wasn't Kwan the one who was 6'6" when he was recruited, suddenly he is 6'10"? It took him a while to learn how to use that body. IF we can get a game or two in The Dance and he plays the way he has been, the NBA will take a serious look. He has great skills and you can not teach size.

He also was not a starter and played in the shadow of Zeke

Big Dog is more consistent and has more actual basketball skills. Zeke had more blocks, but he also go pushed around a lot because he was light for his height. BD is a more complete player.

He is the one player who has a professional future, possibly in the US. He is after all 6'10" and shoots 3's and drives the basket. Someone will probably take a chance they can give him high level skills. You can not teach size.

As of today, we can lose two games and still win the MAC outright. No doubt that number will even get bigger. We are totally in control of our own destiny.

We are 9-3, and *should* be 10-3 after tonight. People always complain about the OOC. Well guess what, 2 of the 3 losses are to TOP TEN TEAMS. Get real, we will likely have a very good conference year and win 23-25 games. Not a bad season.

I am happy about this game. In the first half they made some rookie mistakes, and that alone could have changed the outcome. BUT, Creighton is a VERY VERY good team. Foster will be in the NBA. He is a phenom. There is no answer to him. We don't have an NBA defender to balance an NBA offense. This team will do very well in the MAC. We played into a high level competitor in their house and did NOT get blown out. We held our own. And at one point had it back to 5 points. Nothing to be ashamed of. When this team starts to come together they will be very good.
