  1. Of the few that actually ever played...No. The list is long and endless, but I won't mention it because CK will get mad at me. It seems like the only good players were off the radar guys.
  2. From what I have heard from an inside source, interesting is an understatement... Care to elaborate?
  3. Perhaps wherever DeVoe ends up he will be playing LB. His more natural position IMHO.
  4. He came is as a highly touted WR... And Ted Ginn came to OSU as the best CB in the land. Your point (or are your just stating a fact)? Just a fact...Lots of guys switch positions.
  5. He's on the roster at least.
  6. Are they having grade issues or are they off the team too? Larty was ranked pretty high at CB. Bice is gone too. He was highly ranked... 3 2 1... until Captain jumps me for reporting this.
  7. He came is as a highly touted WR...
  8. Or maybe he wasn't fully recovering from his injury. I don't understand why a returning starter would leave the program...
  9. Groovy Gritty Goony Gerthy Gauldy Oh, you meant gray. He is an older guy.
  10. Very cool! I'm always impressed by people who can put forth so much effort into a wide range of opportunities. I was also intrigued to read his Wikipedia entry (link at bottom of the Examiner page). Cherry, Sparks, Irwin, Bailey, Schifino......you have to admit LO had no problem bringing in quality wideouts. You are right. We did have some good WR during LO tenure...
  11. He's from Ohio. What are you talking about? Ianello served as recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Arizona. Yup. http://www.gozips.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_...TCLID=204846946 Ok gotcha. I thought you were saying this recruit was from Arizona...
  12. If Ianello can find talent in Arizona then he's going to have a field day in NEO. He's from Ohio. What are you talking about?
  13. That pic is sweet.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe if Akron had LBJ he would take the schedula a little differently. I like the best of 3 for the championship. Hopefully the team makes it and gets some valuable experience. It's a lot easier to do at St. V when you have the best high school player in the world playing for you. The risk was very limited.
  15. All those teams would beat us. Sorry to be negative, but this is the same thinking that so many had feeling like the football team could beat Indiana. Would not happen.
  16. Only players who are academically eligible are listed. If a player was a non-qualifier in 2009, he is not eligible in the spring of 2010.Or -- If he was eligible in fall '09, and had a bad report card, he's also not eligible for the spring of 2010.Just because they are not on the spring roster doesn't mean they are off the team. You're welcome.Actually I know that. I didn't know that Williams or Tonga had grade problems....Thank you.
  17. Maybe he was holding out hope that Akron would get that final vote and be NC.
  18. Surprised by Williams. He was starting before his injury.Tonga is missing too. What's up with that?
  19. Followed by a CK post saying that all the players will still make it and I am being premature in my stating the obvious.
  20. I was thinking the exact same thing before I read your post. Dad probably doesn't even have to move, meaning he can still see him anytime.
  21. \Saw the same thing. He will never play a down for Akron. He doesn't really want to be here.
  22. True. He did well for having such a short time frame to work with.
  23. It was lacerated last season against Boston College. When the doctors went in to fix it, they found he was born with only one kidney. That's interesting. What is even more interesting is when doctors cut into the heads of Can't State graduates, students and faculty they only find half a brain.
