I could be wrong, but I remember those Zips doing pretty well vs. OU. I recall Dambrot being quoted that OU's style was "loosie goosy" haha, and that OU fans seemingly agreeing with that assessment. But I thought that was an interesting juxtaposition. Like we had Dambrot's very controlled system vs. Groce's much more fluid and much less-structured approach to the game.

Good grief the refs just completely jobbed Central Michigan on a tremendous play by their TE. Obvious touchdown on review but they stick with their initial bad call. Ball is spotted on the 1 and Central, without their big RB can't punch it in...ouch....turnover on downs. Buffalo 24-CMU 14

Have the sports radio stations ever been invited to broadcast from the stadium on game days? I think their mere presence would be good for game day, and help get us more on the radar. Also: food trucks.

Every company tied to China is complicit in the horrors there. We Americans make so much off of China, Saudi Arabia etc we are all hypocrites to some extent, I’m afraid. I remember getting free beers once in Pittsburgh...was visiting NJ friends at Pitt and wearing my Akron garb. The bartender was friends with Weems and made us feel right at home haha. That being said I sorta remember Akron’s offense looking good running the misdirection and the delay. Heck, San Diego State is freaking anemic at passing and they’re a top 20 program.
