You guys are right i just get so excited and want the UofA to do well.. The other day I got into a debate/argument about how to improve the other 1A schools in ohio. I stated that if Snyder can take Kansas St. from a bottom 100 team to a top 20 team why can't "one" of the MAC schools do the same. Marshall went from 1AA to 1A to conderence USA. I was bombarded with they will never be that calibure because Ohio State takes all the good recuits then Michigan then Penn St. I argue that Fresno State has to compete with USC, UCLA, etc. So don't tell me it will never happen...i ended up just getting frustrated. Ohio has great football....hell every heisman trophy winner at Michigan is from Ohio. The better we get the better chance we have of landing some of these players.

quickzip i understand where you are coming from but how awsome and how optimistic would "everyone" be if we go to a bowl game during a rebuilding year!! Hell why wait till we are "good" to do anything positive. As far as JD and seniors are concerned there is no rebuilding year just a new attitude that the zips can and are supposed to win I think coachs make a mistake when they say that to the public because the team attitude changes to whether we win or lose it's no big deal, believe me I know I was a member of the Owens and Faust years! And sweet the TD was overturned but you said that already!

I would be seriously pissed, how can we continue to build our program and fan support if we keep getting snubbed. This is what we need...someone stated on this board early that they don't wanna see a 6-4 team in a bowl..I do cause it is my school and I am proud of it!!! Ladies and gentlemen we could be witnessing the beginning of a continuous uphill improvement in our university.....landscaping, uniforms, coaching, team, bowl apperance, new stadium, improved fan support due to location, etc. We need this and I hope the AD make this absolutely clear to JD!!! Some may think I am overexaggerating but our future depends on this!!

If the Huskies beat the Broncos, the Zips will face Northern Illinois in the championship based on their 24-14 victory over Bowling Green on Oct. 29. If Western Michigan wins, the Falcons will take on the Rockets in the final because Bowling Green's opponents from the West Division would have a better conference winning percentage than Akron's crossover opponents Go Zips!!!!

I live in Columbus Ohio and have to work or I would drive 2 hours to see the game, I turn to espn2 to watch the BG, Miami game and it is delayed so the cut to the Akron game. ANd I'll be damn if the Bowl looks completely empty. I see more people at practice than there are at the RB right now. There are more people at the Massillon McK game than the university right now. How embarassing on national tv too.

I agree but we still need some outside help to get to the post season...let the zips worry about Ball St and us fans worry about the other teams losses and wins. I just don't wanna be the only bowl eligible team sitting at home AGAIN!!!

We are kind of an unpredictable team...teams we should beat we stink up the joint teams no one gives us a snowballs chance in hell we win go figure
