Brett has a broken bone in his back that has slowed him for six months. ''One of the issues we have now is Brett McKnight. He was not able to do anything in the summer and fall with his injury,'' Dambrot said. ''We are paying the price for that now.''

I want Humpty on the floor with the ball in his hands at the end of the game. He's our most dangerous player in those situations.Hitchens or McKnight are pretty much clutch. -

Syracuse has 27 players leave team in the offseason
Sergeant Zip replied to ZachTheZip's topic in Akron Zips Football
Seeing how a guy like Julian Edelmann tore our defense up, Paulus could be Syracuse's best chance to beat the Zips. I'd run him out of the shotgun 20+ times. We've never been able to stop that play when facing an athletic QB.Paulus pulled for Ryan Nassib to start the second half and Nassib responded with a long touchdown pass, per ESPN. -
Robinson is listed on theUFL's New York Sentinels training camp rosterAs you die hard UFL fans probably already know, Nate was cut by the Sentinels.

It was funny. Liked the shirt too. KD should be happy. -
The Zips were 1-12 on 3rd down. They didn't convert until the 4th Quarter. CMU was 10-14. Last week IU was 10-15 and Akron was 1-7.Against PSU, Akron was 3-14 and PSU was 8-15.

As an Ohio State fan who has seen real "out of control" behavior, I hope you have laughed in the face of anyone inferring the Zips football program is "out of control." It is not like JD is doing idiotic things like Lane Kiffin. For "some" to say this team is "out of control" would be completely inaccurate. It starts with leadership at the top and I say a college football program is out of control when its leader is. See examples below:After spending $140 on drinks and tips at a strip club, you then have about $1,000 in food and drink charged to your bill by a woman named Destiny (who is not your wife) who is staying in your hotel room. Also having several students say they've seen you getting sloshed at bars near campus. Mike PriceYou built your career as a football coach on lies. George O'LearyHaving your honor-roll student, a homecoming queen and an honorable mention all-county kicker, verbally abused and molested by teammates. Then justify it by saying she is an awful player. Also, use sex and alcohol to recruit football players. Gary BarnettSending e-mails to your boosters, but only after they paid $1,200 to receive them. The e-mails, dubbed "The VIP Connection," contained news about players' injuries, their academic standing and your blunt assessments of their skills. Dennis FranchioneYou oversee a series of rule violations, including academic fraud and a scheme where players were paid up to four times the prevailing wage for jobs with a firm owned by mega wealthy and ultra-personable Marshall booster Marshall Reynolds. 1999 MAC Coach of the year Bob PruettBecause you are such an alcoholic, your attorneys fight (and lost) your DUI conviction on the grounds that a toxicology report showed traces of GHB (date rap drug) in your system (unfortunately for OU this ended all coverage of OU football for 2006). Frank SolichYou oversee 107 violations at Florida bargained down to 59 and three years probation - Charley PellYou have to forfeit 31 scholarships at Miami (FL) and have a postseason ban - Dennis EricksonYou receive the "Death Penalty" at SMU = the loss of 55 scholarships - Bobby Collins, Ron MeyerLying about and then admitting an affair with your secretary (although he wasn't fired at Alabama until his team began to lose regularly)- Mike DuBoseYou have one of the most lucrative coaching contracts in the nation ($2 million) when you sign an under-the-radar $250,000 agreement with Rutgers’ marketing agent to pay you for “personal services” (Again, this didn't matter because he won). Greg SchianoThere is only one cure, which I hinted at earlier. See Rich Rod... a couple of "big" wins and these "issues" don't matter as much. Win 400 games and it really doesn't matter what the heck you do to win, just ask Bobby Bowden.Football is big business. -
Agreed but they allowed IU to go 10 - 15 on 3rd down.

Tony Rizzo talking Infocision on WKNR
Sergeant Zip replied to scottditzen's topic in Akron Zips Football
I did not, but I heard the very end of Reghi talking to Hunter. They were giving away tix as well. I believe it was Reghi that said this is big for Northeast Ohio (the stadium). He seemed pretty genuinely excited.Heard it too, I thought Hunter did a nice job. -
Speaking of bad attitudes, QB Clay Belton has decided to leave the Miami of Ohio football program. Per CFT, Belton had been in a figurative fight with senior Daniel Raudabaugh and redshirt freshman Zac Dysert for the top spot.Awesome segue Belton transferred to Maryland.

In all seriousness, congratulations on you success as a business owner. That is no easy task.Instruction by Faculty Report Fall 2006University Main CampusesOhio University / Fall 2006 / 64%University of Akron / Fall 2006 / 49%You were a little off... or are priviy to data that we aren't.I find it interesting that you rip the quality of UofA instructors and then say that you are/were one. What does that say about yourself?Good luck helping students write resumés and business letters in your communications class.
