Because I lived in both Summit and the secondary snow belt. I always forget you guys don't get as much as we do. Thankfully we don't generally get nearly the snowfall that the snowbelt does. BUT RIGHT NOW WE ARE GETTING HAMMERED!!! The snowbelt usually gets hammered as a result of lake effect snow which typically does not reach us, or at least has died down by the time it does.This system, however is coming out of the West-Southwest and is not at all lake effect. Unfortunatley (or fortunatley depending on how you look at it) its main target seems to be the Akron/Canton area. Just called back home (west suburbs of Cleveland) and they aren't getting all that much.Either way I'll be at the JAR tonight. GO ZIPS!!!Bubba--->

Yesterday around the nation was some coaches for cancer type thing where all the college coaches were wearing tennis shoes in support of cancer research or something like that. I'm not real sure of the details, let alone how tennis shoes relates to cancer, but it explains the odd dress.

You know, as much as I love watching Can't getting it handed to them here. Its getting bittersweet. If we had taken care of business last night we end up with a 2 game lead in the East and are truly in the drivers seat. Instead we just hold even. Ohh well, could be worse I guess. We could be tied with Can't now instead of still a game ahead.

The MAC is upside down this weekend.NIU dominates OU (yeah, the scoreboard wasn't all that impressive, but they controlled that game all day) in Athens.Toledo takes a close one over Akron. Probably the most predictable of the West over East wins. No offense to any of our guys.Now Western handing Can't their behinds.

Just tuned in to FSN Ohio to see Can't down 23 with about 10 left. Takes a little of the edge off after that loss last night. This is the team we absolutely slaughtered at home a couple weeks ago and they are making the flushes look silly.

Gotta take care of business at home against Ohio.Love how the refs blow everything for 39 minutes, then we get to 1 left and they loose the whistle.

There were a lot of things that killed you today. Lack of depth is only one of them. NIU's bench completely outplayed yours today. You guys also got a nice taste of Bubba Walther. Sure, he's fine when he's making those 30 footers, but when he isn't its BAAAAADDDDDDDDD news. Not only does it mean bad possessions on the offensive side, but he sulks even more than normal on defense. Combine that with your short bench (noone to really sub him out and pick up the pace any) and its a recipe for disaster.

Watching this OU game against NIU I'm reminded why I'm glad he's gone. He's took about half a dozen shots from about Columbus and he's missed every one of them.

Ohio needs to stop worrying about us and start worrying about taking care of Northern at home. Huskies are giving OU all they can handle.
