I am a Rowdy who has attended a number of games (Winston Salem State, Nevada, Miami, Ohio Womens, Can't, Buffalo, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Ohio Mens) but did not recieve this e-mail.

Alleman will be drafted no later than round 4.Getsy will get a UDFA contract somewhere, but I don't see him getting drafted. The only thing that may help him is that the QB class is really weak this year. Russell is a project with a lot of potential. If you believe all the media types Brady Quinn is in a free fall. Troy Smith is a 3rd rounder at best who might get taken earlier. Beyond that you have a slew of mediocre prospects including but not limited to John Rowe, Drew Stanton, Getsy, Kevin Kolb, Jordan Palmer, Tyler Palko, Trent Edwards, Chris Leak and Jared Zabransky. In a good year maybe half of those guys actually get drafted. This year it will probably be more like 3/4 just because of the overwhelmingly bad QB class.

I don't care if the Rubber Bowl how quickly the Bowl is self-destructing, play as many games there as possible. Travel time for away games and all of that can really wear on a team as the season goes on. It contributed to this past year where we folded down the stretch after playing too many road games early on (in addition to numerous other problems). Some of you guys are getting WAY too shortsighted on this. If we spend the next 2-3 years playing everything we can away from home we give up a significant home field advantage and risk running into losing records and problems with recruiting quality players to a school that never plays at home. If you guys are willing to sacrifice the long term success of the program just so you don't have to make a couple extra trips to the Bowl before we implode the thing so be it. I'm not at all willing to do that.

Not quite as bad as our thrashing of OU, but Can't is firmly in control of this one.Ohh well, we still have a 2 game lead on third and a game lead on second. Take care of business at Miami and Can't and we won't have any problem.

Probably the most telling stat of the night if your an OU fan.Akron's bench outscored Ohio's 32-3.

Either way after tonight we have a 1 game lead on second place, a 2 game lead on third and a 3 game lead on OU in fourth.That said....

Great game all the way around. And 1,500 with over a foot of snow on the ground and more coming, horrible roads and blizzards in the forecast. Pretty respectable.

I was out on Route 8 about an hour ago and it was managable (in my Cavalier none the less). Traffic was moving at about 40 most of the way. I know everyone likes to play it safe and everything, but if you can at all make it get your butt in a car and get there.
